(UNTITLED) Baltimore falls asleep as terror bellows out Awaking those with compassion and the willingness to speak out The racoons and rats scurry, cuddling warmth beneath the sky And those that weren't so lucky, wait in cells with teary eyes The "doctor", self proclaimed, shifts the bar to the right Lifting out a helpless monkey, it's last glimpse of light The clamps are set, the screws are tight, the razor sharpened thin The monkey cries itself to sleep, (because no anethesia was put in) The "doctor" smiles happily thinking only of his paycheck And watches without vision as the monkey snaps it's neck He gazes to the cages where another monkey awaits To experience this "science" and the suffering it creates The vivisector smiles as he's finished his first kill But he's got 20 more to do, before he gets his fill He looks out the window at the homeless sleeping sound In their dumpsters in the alleys, the peace that they have found Now how do these compare, vivisection and the poor If our taxes were used to help people, the homeless may be no more Instead it's spent on machines to tackle precious life To cut them up and posion them, to bring about pain and strife Now he lifts another life out of it's dirty cage And straps it to the machine, that soon will fill with rage He cleans the blood off the table, as his assistant walks in His face is growing tired, as his mind is growing thin He only knows to do his job, and do it very well While in the other room, so many secrets are to tell The monkey's screech and holler, but to unopened ears The man speaks to his assistant, mocking the monkey's tears It's harnessed to the death trap which cuts into it's head And the "doctor" watches it puke, because it has not been fed The moring comes and it's not long before the "doctor" hangs up his coat But the monkey's aren't so lucky, as another "doctor" clears his throat He calls to the first "doctor" who's exiting the room "take good care, see you tomorrow at noon" He exits the building, walking out of the horror Where the homeless men awake to see him entering his car He faintly hears the chanting of a protest gaining motion (this song is not done yet)
